California Background Check
The California Department of Justice allows you to see your own criminal record. You need to use the live scan form below and do live scan fingerprinting.
The procedure is like what you would do when you get live scan fingerprints. The only difference is that we will provide the request for live scan form.
It’s important to note that the CADOJ will mail you your record, so it may take some time to reach you.
Ordinarily, we advise clients to wait 2-3 weeks. It could arrive sooner though.
The California Background Check covers arrests in California, but not outside of California.
So, if you need a background check that covers any incidents that occurred outside of California, you will need to obtain an FBI Background Check.
